DURHAM — A single car accident has left two teens dead, a woman hospitalized and the driver in jail.

TheHighway Patrolsays Crescenciano Salinas was driving 80 miles per hour when he lost control of his Chevy Corsica on the Durham Freeway early Saturday morning. The car flipped and hit a guard rail.

Isabel Candelario, 18, and Victoria Cruz-Orocio, 19, were riding along with Salinas. They were pronounced dead at the scene. Another passenger, Juana Cruz, 35, is listed in serious condition at Duke Medical Center.

Durham Police say Salinas ran from the scene. Officers arrested him at his home.

Salinas is charged with three counts of felonious hit and run and driving without a license. -->
