'N Sync played at the Raleigh Entertainment and Sports Arena Wednesday. Fans started camping out Wednesday morning, hoping to catch an early glimpse of the band.
Debbie Milanese drove two hours from Wilmington just so her daughter could see her favorite group. Between concert tickets, snacks and gas, Milanese says she had already spent $175 -- and that was hours before the concert. Her daughter had not yet found the souvenir stand.
It is expensive, but she says it is worth it.
"It means we get to spend a little quality time coming to concerts," Milanese said. "It's the only thing we can relate to. With her being a teenager, it's kind of hard to find things we both like, so this is something we can do together."
A limited number of tickets were available Wednesday afternoon, after arena officials opened two sections to fans. The concert was previously sold out.
