RALEIGH — Years in the making and millions in the spending, the new
Thenew museumis located on West Jones Street, between Salisbury and Wilmington Streets in Raleigh.
The museum is open Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 1-5 p.m.
Parking is available along Jones Street, in the parking deck under the Museum of History building (accessible from Wilmington Street and from Jones Street), or in several commercial lots located nearby.
There is a restaurant inside the museum, however you cannot bring your own food inside. Tables and chairs are available to visitors outside on the mall.
Admission is free.
