FAYETTEVILLE — Two of Fort Bragg's Command Sergeant Majors received special honors Wednesday.
Friends, family members and soldiers said good-bye to Command Sergeant Major Andrew McFowler, and congratulations to Command Sergeant Major Steven R. England.
McFowler is a new Forces Command Sergeant Major, and England will replace him, assuming the top 18th Airborne Corp enlisted position.
Also Wednesday, the Senate confirmed Lieutenant General William F. Kernan -- commander of the 18th Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg -- as the Commander in Chief of the U.S. Joint Forces Command and Supreme Allied Commander.
