SMITHFIELD — Smithfield residents can safely drink their tap water again.
City officials lifted a boil order at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, after making sure the water was safe to drink.
Crews repaired a broken water line at the town's plant late Monday.
The break left Smithfield residents without water for days.
