<b>CUMBERLAND COUNTY</b> — Cumberland County deputies say a 19-year-old girl survived a kidnapping scare Wednesday.

Police say the girl was washing dishes when William Spencer broke in to her Muriel Street home. Deputies believe he tied her up and left her in a hot garage.

She somehow untied herself and made it to a nearby home.

Spencer is now behind bars facing charges of kidnapping, breaking and entering, robbery with a dangerous weapon and larceny  of a motor vehicle.    -->
