DURHAM — Traffic was tied up onInterstate 85 and Highway 70 in Durhamafter a logging truck lost its load around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Wood was scattered across the southbound lanes of the Interstate near Camden Avenue, after the load shifted and broke a fastening strap.
Approximately 10,000 pieces fell off the truck.
No one was injured, but it took some time to clear the mess. Both lanes of I-85 are now open.
