The North Carolina Highway Patrol said Raym lost control of her car on Apex Barbecue Road, overcorrected, hit a bridge railing and flipped upside down into a creek.

She was the daughter of Officer Keith Raym.

On Tuesday night and Wednesday, dozens of friends posted their condolences on her website on

"You were such an amazing person and I'm so blessed that I got the chance to know you so well," one friend wrote. "I will never forget all of the awesome times we had growing up together. "
