RALEIGH, N.C. — A man who police were looking for after a Friday night killing was found in South Carolina, police said.
Raleigh police had already charged Charles Darryl Dickerson, 39, with murder in connection with the death of 42-year-old Brenda Fox, whose body was found at about 10:30 p.m. Friday at
119 S. Pettigrew St.
Dickerson was caught in
Greenville County, South Carolina
during a S.C. Highway Patrol traffic stop on I-85, police said.
Fox had been struck by a blunt object, according to investigators.
Police said that Dickerson and Fox knew each other and they believe the alleged homicide wasn't a random act.
