DURHAM, N.C. — A Durham day-care center is shut down after a gun and drugs were found inside.
Police were called to A Rising Shining Home Care to break up a fight between a man and a woman.
They found a stolen gun and 4 grams of cocaine. Officers arrested the man.
Investigators say they found more than a dozen safety violations during an inspection last week.
