Body Parts Investigation Continues At Johnston County Farmhouse

Investigators found the remains of more than one person on Saturday in plastic bags under the floorboards of the farmhouse at 1294 Lizzie Mill Road, as well as in a freezer, and arrested Bobby Pollard and his wife, Louise Pollard.

While the remains have yet to be identified, deputies believe they may be connected to two missing persons cases: Robin Leigh Clark and Ceasar Ruvalcava Ortiz, who authorities say lived with the Pollards in 1997.

Johnston County Sheriff Steve Bizzell said Monday that he has enough information to charge Bobby Pollard in connection with Ortiz's death, but did not say what that evidence was. Investigators, however, will not know for sure until the body parts are identified.

Investigators plan to go back to the farmhouse Wednesday. Meanwhile, the body parts are at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Chapel Hill.
