Capitol Sports To Broadcast High School Football on the Internet

RALEIGH — Capitol Broadcasting Company is using the latest technology to help you to catch some of the best high school football action each week.

Starting today, Capitol Sports Network will broadcast live audio on the Internet of a featured high school game each week of the season. This week's featured game is Garner vs. Millbrook, starting at 7 p.m. at Millbrook High School in Raleigh.

You will need to have a Real Audio player, which can bedownloadedfor free using your web browser. The Real Audio page contains directions for installing the browser. (Netscape 3.0 has a Real Audio player built into it.)

In addition to hearing the featured games each week, you also can listen to a complete summary of prep football scores from across the state. This also requires a Real Audio player. Scores are updated each Saturday morning at 7 a.m. EDT.

Next week, WRAL OnLine will add a special section for high school football fans in Eastern North Carolina called Football Friday OnLine. The page will contain rankings, scores and schedules, plus audio and video highlights
