The Johnston County Sheriff's Department has cleared Oasis nursing home of any wrongdoing in an alleged abuse case.
The Department of Social Services did a separate investigation of the home. It has cited Oasis for failure to report the case in a timely manner.
Investigators also found that the employee accused of abuse used profanity in the presence of a patient.
That employee has been fired
