HOPE MILLS — June 21, 1996 - 7:40 p.m. EDT
An investigation is under way into the drowning death of a 3-year-old in Cumberland county.
Emergency crews were called to the child's home on Tully Lane Thursday, responding to reports that a child had drowned in a swimming pool. They found people trying to revive Victoria Snyder.
An ambulance rushed her to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
There is no word yet on how she got into the pool or whether any charges will be filed
