FAYETTEVILLE — June 9, 1996, 8:32 a.m. EDT
Two people are dead after a head-on crash in Cumberland County early Sunday morning.
Officers are still investigating and there is no word on the identities of the victims.
It happened in the northern part of the county, off Highway 401-North. The drivers of both cars died at the scene. A third person was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and listed in critical condition
