HENDERSON, N.C. — A man reported missing in Vance County has been found safe.
Arthur Johnson Jr. was found alive Friday on the shore of Kerr Lake at the UNC Campgrounds of Vance County by two fishermen.
Johnson, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease, had been missing since Jan. 30.
According to Vance County Sheriff Thomas Breedlove, Johnson was taken to Maria Parham Hospital in Henderson, where it is believed he will be OK.
