Strange Package Forces Radio Station Off the Air

A strange package left inside an office building caused a popular local FM radio station to sign off the air for a short time Thursday night.

Just before 6 p.m., a woman walked into the offices of WDCG-FM (G-105) in a Research Triangle Park office building. She put a metal briefcase on the front counter and told the receptionist the answer to the world's problems were inside. She then left.

The receptionist notified security, which called police.

The building was evacuated and a bomb squad was called to the building.

But when the case was opened, only a candle, a picture of a boat and a tarot card were found inside
