Hoyle Smith and Helen Boone (pictured, left) were last seen more than six months ago, but there are still many unanswered questions about their disappearance.
No bodies have been discovered, but Sanford police have charged a man with two counts of first-degree murder.
Boone's son, Larry Boone (pictured, right) , says it's frustrating just to wait.
Boone says he knows his mother and her live-in boyfriend are dead, but he has no idea where their bodies are.
Police think 66-year-old Helen Boone and 79-year-old Hoyle Smith were killed by Donald Abercrombie (pictured, left) , and defense attorneys admit that he has confessed to the killings. The bodies have never been found, however, and Abercrombie has not told police where they can find them.
Larry Boone says he's lived in a state of uncertainty for six months.

Officials at the Sanford Police Department say their search for the two bodies is ongoing and that they're looking for more leads.
Without some sort of location, according to Detective Bill Huggins (pictured, right), the search is quite difficult.
Attorney Jim Love, Jr. (pictured, left) is in the process of planning a defense for Abercrombie.
"Our premise is that these people are still alive and that's what we're going on ... despite a confession," says Love.
Larry Boone is forced to continue waiting. He says he may never find the bodies of his mother and her friend, but he won't give up until something is done.
District Attorney Tom Locke expects the Boone case to go to trial before the end of the year.
