It's Graduation Weekend in the Triangle

Nine Triangle colleges and universities will hold their commencement exercises over the weekend and that means the area population is much higher than normal.

As usual, there are no vacancies at local inns. Nearly all of the 15,000 hotel rooms in the Triangle have already been reserved.

It will also be difficult to get a table at many area restaurants, but waiters say they don't mind being busy at this time of year, because they make more money than usual.

Of the 73 hotels in Wake County, only three report having even a single vacancy at this point
