Teen in Serious Condition After Stabbing

FOUR OAKS — April 29, 1996 - 5:55 p.m. EDT

Johnston County sheriff's deputies still don't know why a teenager was stabbed and his car torched.

The attack occurred Saturday night, but deputies didn't find 16-year-old Robert Kennedy until Sunday evening. He was in a wooded area just outside Four Oaks.

Kennedy, reportedly from Benson,is now at Duke Hospital, listed in serious condition.

So far deputies have not made an arrest for the attack.
