If you find sorting your recyclables a despicable chore, perhaps Fayetteville is the place for you. The Cumberland County landfill has begun a new project that makes recycling simpler.
Known as the "Blue Bag Project", the program calls for residents to place all of their recyclable goods together in blue plastic bags, the set them out for pickup alongside regular trash.
The staff at a new recycling center called VEDCO will sort and recycle the blue bag contents
