Two people were injured when the car they were riding in collided with, then slid under, a tractor-trailer.
The extent of their injuries is not known.
Reportedly, the truck was stopped on East Tryon road early Wednesday morning when the car crashed into it from behind.
The car was so badly damaged that rescuers had to cut off the roof to get one of the victims out of the front seat
