RED SPRINGS — April 3, 1996 - 6:10 p.m. EST
A Robeson County pastor has returned home after being beaten two weeks ago at his church in Red Springs.
Reverend Eric Rich suffered a fractured skull during an attempted robbery at the West Side Baptist Church and still suffers pain, dizziness and double vision.
His doctor has told him not to preach for at least two more weeks.
Pastor Rich says the episode has not shaken his faith in God.
"When something like this takes place, being in the ministry and walking with God, I know that whatever takes place is the Lord's will, even though I can't understand it all the time," said Rich.
