<b>RALEIGH</b> — In a couple of months, "Episode One: The Phantom Menace" hits the big screen. However, the mass Star Wars hysteria has already struck the nation, and one of the significant outlets for the fever is the Internet.

George Lucas has made Star Wars an industry.  There are dozens of Web sites dedicated to all things Star Wars.

Users will find no better way to learn more about Episode One than on theofficial Star Wars site, which includes video about the making of the new movie.

The official site contains everything from text and pictures about the anatomy of the strange dewback, to the movie trailer.

With the Ipix plug in, available on the site, users can even tour the set of Anakin's home.  They can control the 360 degree image by moving the cursor in any direction. But the thing most folks want to see is the movie trailer now playing in selected theatres.

A quick Web search brings scores of Star Wars related sites; some by companies hawking toys, collectibles and games; others by individual Star Wars fans.

Dark Horse Comics puts itsStar Wars based comic striponline.

Star Wars toys and modelsare big on the Hasbro Toy site. And Lucas Arts, owned by George himself, posts information about its very popularcomputer and console games.

So for Star Wars junkies looking for the real scoop about the upcoming movie, the Web is the place to go.
