Members of the West Side Baptist Church in Red Springs are undoubtedly feeling that their prayers have been answered. Their pastor is recovering from injuries received when he was attacked.
Reverend Eric Rich was severely beaten Wednesday night when two masked men attacked him in the church. His condition has now been upgraded to fair.
Police still have made no arrests in connection with the attack, but are conducting a door-to-door search to gather information.
A reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest. Contact the Red Springs police (number at right) if you can help.
