ROBESON COUNTY — March 15, 1996 - 3:16 p.m. EST
Two people are dead and two others are hospitalized after a three-car accident early Friday morning in Robeson county.
The accident occurred at about 6 a.m. on Tarheel Road, just outside of Lumberton.
Police say one of the cars crossed the center line and hit two other vehicles head-on. They have not yet been able to determine why the first car veered into the oncoming lane.
The victims' names have not yet been released
