Teens Caught Off-Guard In Crime

FAYETTEVILLE — March 13, 1996 - 5:04 p.m. EST

Two Fayetteville teens got a lesson in getting caught in the act of committing a crime.

The crime appeared to be all planned out. After one teen broke the front window of an Ireland Street convenience store with a rock, a second teen ran in and grabbed beer and cigarettes.

What the twodidn'tplan on was the undercover police offer who was watching the store.

Police have charged 16-year-old Michael Brimhall (L) and 17-year-old Joshua Freese (R) with three break-ins, and say they could be charged with at least four others
