There are some counties in North Carolina that qualify for federal disaster relief, but none of them are in the Triangle.
Governor Jim Hunt asked for federal money after several winter storms hit the state, but those who hold the purse-strings didn't come through for Triangle Counties.
The only county east of Greensboro to get federal aid will be Halifax
