FAYETTEVILLE — February 16, 1996 - 12:23 p.m. EST
The couple accused of abusing 84-year-old Lillian Leggett has returned her home to her.
When Leggett met Larry and Kathy Jacobs, it was agreed that they would move in with her and take care of her. She eventually deeded her house to them.
Then, in November of last year, Leggett filed a lawsuit claiming the couple had abused her and evicted her from her own home.
Thursday night, the couple signed the deed back over to Leggett, and she has moved back in
