Chapel Hill Fire Claims Two Lives

Another early morning fire, the third in as many days in the Triangle, swept through a mobile home Saturday leaving two dead.

This time, the victims were an unidentified 40-year-old man and a 5-year-old boy.

Neighbors in the Rigsbee mobile home park said the fire was intense, with flames shooting horizontally out of the trailer's windows and doors.

The fire broke out at about 7:20 a.m. Saturday. The cause is not known
