FAYETTEVILLE — Minor league baseball may havestruck outin Fayetteville, but for hockey fans, the "Force" will remain strong.

TheFayetteville Forcehas a new owner. Many hope Lynn Nathan, of South Carolina, can help the team score more fans and fill seats at Crown Coliseum.

"I want feedback from the community. I want to know what the community is looking for that they are not getting from us," Nathan says.

Nathan says there are no plans to move the minor league hockey team out of Fayetteville or make changes to the team's name and logo. The only change fans will notice is a new excitement for the game.

"Two key ingredients to run a successful minor league hockey franchise are No. 1, a love for the game and No. 2, a strong marketing background," says Steve Stark, vice-president of communications for the Fayetteville Force. "Lynn brings both of those to the table for us."

Despite sold out crowds at concerts and other events at Crown Coliseum, the Fayetteville Force did not have a single sold-out game last season.
