— Sheriff's deputies Monday issued a request for the public's help in finding a 21-year-old man who was last seen overnight Wednesday and whose disappearance they said was suspicious.

Jason Tyrone Jeffreys of Wake Forest was last seen in Raleigh around Garner Road and Bragg Street, officials said. His family reported him missing Friday night, the sheriff's office said in a statement.

Jeffreys was described as black, 6-foot-1, 160 pounds, with black hair in dreadlocks or braids, a moustache and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, gray pants and red-and-black shoes, deputies said.

They did not disclose details, but said "the circumstances surrounding his disappearance are suspicious."

That is so right My Peace.

I do not know him or any other drug dealer "personally". I refuse to keep the wrong company.

Sick of Thughs 4 you keep stressing about people hanging around the wrong crowd. Can you safely say that every member of your family and every friend that you have is perfect and has no criminal felony background that are know or that they are convicted of? Not every bad crime is caught and some of your love ones or friends could be involved in. You can't assume that every descent looking person walking around with a job, home and money is good. NO The majority of them are on drugs and hide it. I really wish you would stop trying to express your personal feeling about Jason and give the family a little respect by not continually throw up his past. It is not about his past it is about finding him because his mother and father are worried sick. Keep your negative remarks to yourself. This site is to help assist in obtaining information to help Jason.

That was not an excuse that was a question! Since you have so much to say I just want to know if you know Jason personally?

  • Brighterside23 Jun 6, 2007

I am going to remain silent on some of the posts, because I really wanted to just say I hope he finds his way home and all is well! I feel sorry for ANYONE who Loves someone has to live in fear of the worst as in this case.

vluv. I am tired of excuses.

"SICK OF THUGS" I am tried of your comments about Jason. You act like you know him or had something to do with his disappearance.

justruffingirl. I am not debating that. I do believe that he should be found. If he is alive then we need to know, if he is not then the person responsible needs punishment. My point is that you can't hang out with the wrong crowd and not expect something bad to happen. Can we all agree on that?
