Composite Sketches Released in Convenience Store Slaying

Posted June 4, 2007

— More than a year after a convenience store clerk was gunned down in his store, Wake County authorities on Monday released composite drawings of two men wanted for questioning in the case.

Osama "Sam" Haj-Abu-Hussein, 43, was shot and killed inside the In and Out Food Mart on Creech Road on May 12, 2006. A customer found Hussein's body in the store.

Hussein's minivan was stolen from outside the store and was recovered two weeks later on Chamberlain Road.

Two men depicted in the composites were seen in the store on the day of Hussein's death, according to the Wake County Sheriff's Office.

Anyone with information about either of the men is asked to call the Wake County Sheriff's Office at 919-856-6800.

If one blurs the vision a bit
and looks at the two likenesses
    then they might be identified
by someone who has seen them.

I hope the tipster gets a reward.
I want justice to be done.

Tyrone- disrespect??? I didn't know that being disrespectful is a valid reason to end someone's life! Give me a break! If I shot everyone that showed ME disrespect, I'd be good for one a day. You need to come up with a better excuse, like, oh, his father abandoned him.. or his mother was a drunk.. let's continue to put blame every where but where it SHOULD be.. with HIM! HE walked into the store.. HE aimed the gun at this poor man and HE pulled the trigger. If the clerk DID talk badly to him and HE couldn't control his anger, then HE should be LOCKED up like ALL vicious animals! There is NO valid reason to end someone's life. PERIOD! END OF STORY! And this is being typed with the UTMOST RESPECT, lest YOU hunt ME down in cold blood.

The whole respect/disrespect joke or whatever is very old. Get some new material Tyrone. Ya, those composites will help..... a year later at that.

If you work in a convenience store in Raleigh it's just a matter of time before you're shot and killed. I do wonder how many of these killings are brought about by the clerk showin disrespect to customers.

looks like bozo and his date , didnt have more to do than go out and rob and kill someone. If by chance they get caught the family should have the right to do to them as they done to the family member. That would put the brakes to these senseless killings and save the taxpayers lots of money .

If the perps knew they would be put in jail like some of our foreign institutions maybe they would think second before acting. Going to a prison with TV and three square meals, and heat and A/C doesn't seem to be a deterent. Or public hanging?

Forgetaboutit-The speeders, petty theft?(so...that is not robbery) and drugs. Okay let us analyze this, usually getting away with any of the above for long are going to lead to someone getting killed or someone killing you....so maybe those few things should remain law. But with more stricter punishment, so it won't be as tempting to these people.(murderers, etc) But when they commit these crimes, they are then sent to live in luxury, with more rights then the people that they have killed. So I guess there is no real solution, is it? Really sad

Yes, I think we should do away with all laws except the big ones. That's a great idea.
