BC Custom Metal Fabrication caught fire Saturday night. Five fire crews responded to the scene.

WILSON, N.C. — A two-alarm fire destroyed a Wilson business Saturday night.

The blaze was at the BC Metal Shop at 5302 Skyland Loop Road.

Neighbors said flames were 25 feet into the air when fire trucks arrived.

At first, firefighters were concerned about possible explosions. The business makes trailers, and there were several propane tanks and torches in the building.

No one was hurt, and investigators were looking into the cause of the fire.
