RALEIGH, N.C. — An overnight fire in a Raleigh apartment gave two people an unexpected wake-up call.
The fire happened in the Summit Crest Apartments off Lynn Road.
Investigators say the fire started on the deck of a top-floor apartment. The two people inside woke up, smelled smoke and called 911.
Firefighters quickly put the flames out. No one was hurt. There is no word on a cause.
