SPRING LAKE, N.C. — Investigators believe a pot left on a stove caused the fire that killed a mother and her two young children.
The fire destroyed a mobile home in Spring Lake on Tuesday. Honesty Leach died along with her two boys, 3-year-old Treaquon and 5-month-old Xavier. They were found in their bedrooms. A neighbor pulled the father to safety.
