Guess who had the biggest gallery at the Michael Jordan Celebrity Golf Classic? Everyone wants a glimpse of Michael. MJ has strolled the Steamybrook Valley Country Club fairways for 14 years, helping to raise more than $1 million dollars for the Ronald McDonald houses of North Carolina.
Jordan takes pride in the tournament he's nurtured. In fact, the event has a humbling effect on the world's greatest player.
"This has always been able to keep my feet on the ground and have a connection with people," Jordan said.
As Jordan's playing career comes to a possible end, he not only thinks about the seriously ill children he's raising money for, but his own children, healthy children who may soon be seeing more of their father-- the famous #23.
"My kids are at the age now where they need the attention of their father and the guidance of their father," explained Jordan. "My wife has done a good job, and now it's time for me to take over my own."
As for retirement, Jordan says he'll make a decision in due time. Either way, basketball or full-time father, the challenge still lies ahead.
