LEXINGTON, KY — Duke was greeted with a smattering of Kentucky blue boos Thursday night, but the Devils tried to turn a negative into a positive. Coach Mike Krzyzewski signed a few autographs, and Duke's dunk show brought a few cheers.
Trajan Langdon felt the reception was the way he expected it to be, but the boos seemed to overshadow the cheers.
Coach "K" joked with a fan about drawing a moustache on Wojo's face in the program. He'll forget the moustache, but he would like to pencil Wojo into the line-up. The senior point-guard has been battling the flu and has been limited this week.
"I feel great," Wojo said. "I feel as good today as I have in a while. It's NCAA Tournament time, and I feel great."
It's not like Duke needs any points from Wojo, but what they do need is energy and passion. Duke's opponent, 16th seeded Radford, has won 11 games in a row. Regardless, they may not have to unpack their overnight bags in Lexington.
