I live in one of the fraternity houses on that street. Everyday I am asked for money or hassled for some reason or another. The plasma center does nothing about the people who congregate outside of their business. A few nights ago someone was held up at gun-point and his bike was stolen.

I agree that the street needs to be cleaned up, but stating that the fraternities are part of the problem is erroneous. The fraternity houses on that street are beneficial. We do a lot to keep our yard looking nice and are working to fix up our house too. Despite what you might think about fraternities we are hard-working college students and don't cause much trouble. There are 3 fraternity houses on that street, and the rest of the houses are poorly run.

Maiden Lane is one shady area. It needs to be cleaned up. There's a frat-house, boarding homes, homeless people, sex-offenders and a plasma center where homeless congregate to donate their plasma for money. Skid Row.

Senseless violence with no possible explanation to approve of the end result, someone getting shot. Thank goodness it didnt end in murder.

Is this related to tailgating or just random violence resulting from someone showing disrespect?
