RALEIGH — Reaching the finish line Sunday meant a whole lot more to a group of triathletes, because they did it for someone else.

Hundreds of people sweated through a three-part competition of running, swimming and cycling to help raise money for the Jimmy V Foundation.

Last year's triathlon raised more than $21,000 for Jimmy V's cancer organization.
