Raleigh-Durham Ranks High on Vacation Destination List

raleigh-skyline

The Raleigh-Durham area is near the top of another list for best places.

This time, it’s the vacation destination list.

Hotwire.com has ranked Raleigh-Durham as number three on their list of places to get more vacation for your money.

Atlanta topped the list with Dallas right behind in the number two slot. Coming in fourth and fifth places were Orlando and Kansas City.

This is the second year the Raleigh-Durham area has ranked on the list.

Thrifty travelers visit this popular college-town area because it’s easily accessible from most major cities along the East Coast.

Some places you can visit for free around here are:
- The Museum of Natural Sciences or the North Carolina Museum of History
- The Harley-Davidson Drag Racing Museum, the only one of its kind.
- Plus all the parks and lakes in the area.
