ORANGE COUNTY — TwoHighway Patrolcars suffered damage following a high-speed chase that ended on Interstate 85 in Orange County.
The chase began in Burlington after James W. Breedlove, 31, was driving a red pick-up truck tried to rob a bank. The chase ended when his truck hit a median barrier near the Hillsborough weigh station.
Breedlove was treated at Alamance Regional Medical Center for minor injuries. He is being charged with armed robbery. Traffic charges are still pending.
