Tuesday night, the boy's basketball teamdefeatedBroughton High School 77-66 in a packed Reynolds Coliseum.
Now, investigators are trying to figure out who set fire to a school bus in the Leesville parking lot overnight.
A neighbor to the school says she heard an explosion around 3:15 a.m., and saw flames in the parking lot.
By the time firefighters put out the flames, parts of the bus had melted away.
"Basically, the bus is a total loss. The front of the bus has been melted, the tires are burned away. The whole bus has heat damage all the way from front to back," says Capt. Dan Nagel of the Wake County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators do not know if the fire is connected to the game, or to a string of bus fires that happened last year.
