PITTSBORO — One person is dead after a fire in Chatham County Tuesday morning.
A motorist passing by noticed the travel trailer, located on Big Hole Road near Pittsboro, engulfed in flames around 8 a.m.
The body inside is so badly burned, the sheriff's office has not been able to identify the victim or determine the sex.
At this time, investigators do not suspect foul play.
