HENDERSON — An employee of the Pines of Carolina Girl Scout Council is charged with stealing thousands of dollars.
FBI agents arrested Charles Allen of Henderson on Tuesday. He is charged with embezzling $14,000 from the organization.
Allen was the Girl Scout council's property manager.
Warrants indicate Allen obtained the money in part by writing false invoices. He was released from the Wake County jail after posting bond.
