Wedding Planners Step Up To Help Inconvenienced Brides

RALEIGH — There is good news for couples who planned to get married at Raleigh's Plantation Inn, but cannot because the hotel is being torn down.

Some local wedding planners have stepped up to help. They say they are willing to help brides with their wedding bell blues:

  • Holland Grill in Apex:387-1633
  • Sheraton Capital Center:834-9000 x. 498
  • Zebulon Civic Center:291-2111The Plantation Inn sits next to the I-540 corridor. The owner is selling the property, meaning couples, who paid their deposits, cannot get married there.
