Allegations Mount Against Former NCSU Police Chief

Posted Updated

RALEIGH — There are more accusations against the former police chief at N.C. State University.

Ralph Harper's former secretary now says he asked her to erase recordings of employee phone conversations.

In a letter to N.C. State officials, Ginger Huber's lawyer says Harper gave Huber a pass code to the room that housed the recording equipment and a magnet to erase the tapes.

Huber says she never did it.

Harper denies the allegations. He is under investigation for illegal wiretapping and misuse of school funds.

Huber is one of several employees seeking damages.
