WRAL Tradition Continues With Annual Tower Lighting

print friendly

A WRAL-TV holiday tradition continues and can be seen for miles!

Just before 6 p.m. Wednesday, we flipped the switch to turn our 300-foot TV tower into a 300-foot Christmas tree.

The students sang songs of joy, even though each one of them has suffered through some tough times. All arevictims of Hurricane Floyd.

Located at the WRAL-TV Studios on Western Boulevard in Raleigh, the lighted tower can be seen for miles around.

You can see the lighted tower through the New Year.
