GREENSBORO — Firefighters are on the scene of a potentially explosive situation at Greensboro'sCone Mills.
Emergency crews were first called to the textile plant because of a fire. Then, firefighters discovered what appear to be several crude bombs.
The bomb squad was quickly called to the scene and sent in a robot and scent dogs to get a closer look.
Officials confirm they found at least one bomb with a timing device; it was found in a woman's restroom.
Third-shift workers have been cleared out of the building.
Cone Mills is one of the largest textile plants in Greensboro.
