RALEIGH, N.C. — A paramedic charged with embezzlement is due in court next month.
Investigators said Barbara Lynn Moore defrauded First Health of the Carolinas out of nearly $41,000 between January 2004 and October 2005.
Payroll officers at the company found many discrepancies in Moore's hours.
Moore spent three years as a paramedic for First Health.
